Help support the future of Scotland’s Young Farmers

I’m really excited to have been asked if I’d like to support this cause and I’m hoping that together we can raise a decent amount of money to help in support of the Scottish Association of Young Farmers Clubs (SAYFC) and their Big Build campaign.

HOW IT WORKS

Tickets can be purchased up until 8pm on 14 December.

The draw will take place LIVE on the Equi Farm Competitions Facebook page at 8pm on 14 December.

There will be one winner for each prize.

All profits from this fundraiser will go directly to the Scottish Association of Young Farmers Clubs (SAYFC) to support the Young Farmers Big Build.

 

What is the Young Farmers Big Build?

The Big Build has one clear goal: to raise the vital funds needed to create a new permanent home for Scotland’s Young Farmers at the Royal Highland Showground.

This project is about much more than bricks and mortar. It will help protect and celebrate the proud heritage of SAYFC, while investing in a strong and sustainable future for its members and the wider agricultural community.

SAYFC’s former building was recently demolished after being condemned, leaving the Association without a permanent base for the first time in decades. This loss is particularly felt during the Royal Highland Show — one of the busiest and most important weeks in the Young Farmers calendar.

The new facility will:

• ·         Provide a year-round base for Young Farmers staff
• ·         Provide communal office space for agricultural charities and organisations, encouraging greater collaboration across the sector
• ·         Offer a flexible event space to generate additional revenue for SAYFC
• ·         Provide archive and exhibition space to protect and showcase SAYFC’s rich heritage
